Maria’s journey working with young children began in her hometown of Morelia, Mexico, where she cared for younger siblings and relatives. Although she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, she discovered her true calling in early childhood education after working with children in a variety of settings and later earned her AMI teacher training (for children 0–3). Maria joined REDS in 2025 as a Toddler Program Guide and also leads the care of the school garden. She is passionate about connecting children with nature through hands-on experiences. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cycling, reading, yoga, and gardening, practices that support her calm and grounded presence with children.
