Alex joined REDS in 2023, bringing more than a decade of financial and leadership experience in independent schools. Before joining REDS, she served as a Business Manager at schools in New York City and Connecticut, following earlier rolls in non-profit management with NYC-based national young adult cancer patient advocacy organizations. Alex holds an accounting certificate from Cornell University and a master's degree in Material and Visual Cultural Anthropology from University College London. She has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Perhaps most importantly, and certainly most fondly, Alex attended a Montessori school as a child in Enfield, CT. Alex has also had the good fortune to serve as the PTA president and a board member of a Montessori preschool in Brooklyn, NY.
