EXTENDED DAY

The Montessori Approach offers a broad vision of education as an aid to life.

Free the child’s potential, and you will transform him into the world.

Extended Day is an extension of the morning, offered to children who are ready for a longer school day.  Readiness is determined by a variety of measures, including but not limited to physical readiness and stamina, and is assessed once a child turns 4 years-old.  The longer day allows children to have an afternoon work cycle as well as the opportunity to engage with their peers and teachers in a smaller group setting, since only the older children in the group join.  Children can join Extended Day at various points throughout the year once readiness is determined.
