REDS strives to create a strong community between the children, faculty, parents & staff.

The child builds his inmost self out of the deeply held impressions he receives.

Maria Montessori

The Reds community consists of families, faculty & staff who represent a diverse range of ethnicities, nationalities, creeds & socio-economic backgrounds.

Montessori is as much an approach to learning and education as it is an approach to life. We believe and strive for a strong community at REDS and it is integral to the children’s success and the life of the school that parents strive to understand the principles of Montessori Education.

The REDS community consists of families, faculty and staff who represent a diverse range of ethnicities, nationalities, creeds and socio-economic backgrounds. REDS celebrates the diversity of the school family each week with chapel services conducted in the Christian tradition and with sensitivity to insights and holy days of other religious beliefs and practices. Families of all faiths are encouraged to share their important religious and cultural rituals.

In addition, all REDS parents are automatically members of the REDS Parent Association. Our goal is to provide a means through which parents can work with faculty and staff for the benefit of the children.
