REDS classrooms are aesthetically arranged in a manner that imparts order and beauty.

The first aim of the prepared environment is, as far as it is possible, to render the growing child independent of the adult.

REDS is nestled in the parish house of the historic Church of the Resurrection built in 1868. The parish house was added in the 1920’s and has housed a school for over 40 years.
Each classroom is equipped with specific Montessori materials designed to be used in specific ways in coordination with the Montessori philosophy.

We enjoy 5 spacious and sunny classrooms, a library, a large auditorium/gymnasium, a kitchen, garden and a great playground that is spacious, and  protected, with great climbing equipment, and large blocks for building and dramatic play.

Each classroom is equipped with Montessori materials designed to be used in specific ways consistent with the Montessori philosophy.
